The 23rd International Conference on Mathematics will be held from November 24th to 26th, 2023 at the Department of Mathematics, University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh. This prestigious conference is organized biennially by the Bangladesh Mathematical Society. Accepted papers that meet the specified scope and quality requirements will have the opportunity to be included in a reputable publication (to be specified). Additionally, authors of selected high-quality papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their original work for publication in a special issue of the Rajshahi University Journal of Science and Engineering.

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Rajshahi is a renowned and well-established department that has been shaping mathematical education and research for over 69 years. Mathematics, considered the mother of science, has played a fundamental role in human development, from ancient civilizations to modern society. The department offers a diverse range of academic disciplines that integrate mathematics into various fields such as physics, statistics, biology, chemistry, economics, history, and sociology. Mathematics serves as a bridge between these disciplines, providing a common language and powerful tools for problem-solving and knowledge transfer. With a dedicated faculty consisting of experienced teachers and experts in their respective fields, the department offers two branches of study: Pure Mathematics and Computational and Applied Mathematics. The faculty members are actively engaged in research, with a strong focus on M.Sc., M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs. Research groups within the department explore diverse areas such as Gamma Ring Theory, Lattice Theory, Algebra, Topology, Computational Oceanography, Relativity, Astrophysics, Water Waves, Biomathematics, Optimization, Fuzzy Mathematics, and Analysis and PDEs. The department boasts a spacious and aesthetically pleasing location within the university, fostering an environment conducive to learning and exploration. It accommodates many students, faculty members, and administrative staff. The department's research activities have resulted in numerous publications in national and international journals, showcasing their commitment to advancing mathematical knowledge.

The Best Paper Awards will be conferred to three exceptional papers chosen by the Technical Program Committee. Only papers presented at the Conference by Bangladeshi students will be eligible for consideration. Each award includes a prize and a certificate.
